I just can't believe my little sweety is 10 months old...no more single digit months...that is just plain crazy! Seriously, could she be any cuter??? Will and I pinch ourselves on occasion cause we find it hard to believe that we are so lucky to have such a beautiful sweet little girl. That's what is new this month...she really is turning into a little girl...not a baby anymore! She is crawling...yes she proved me wrong and started crawling the day after I wrote that I didn't think she'd ever crawl:) She also is pulling up to stand, but of course, ONLY ON ME! Whenever I lay on the ground on my side, it never fails, speed demon Katelyn comes over to me and pulls up to her knees and then stands up! She won't let go...she'll stand forever holding on to our coffee table or to me. What is also new this month is, Katelyn's reflux is basically gone:) This makes us smile soooo much...we were so scared that it wasn't gone by 6 months when the doc claimed it would. Happily though, we are down to .25ml of Zantac a day...weaning her slowly, but surely...but that is practically nothing so we should have this licked in just a few more days:) Katelyn is growing up and so is her belly, YAY! Which leads me to FOOD...Katelyn is down to 2 bottles a day...one at noon and the other at bedtime...about 18 ounces a day...give or take an ounce. She has also finally discovered the sippy cup! She is too funny...holds it only with 1 hand...such a show-off. She is eating chicken, turkey and is trying everything we eat now as long as it isn't too spicy. She probably weighs about 21 pounds...not more. She is FINALLY wearing 9-12 month clothing and all I am buying at this point is 18 months plus since I know she is due for a growth spurt. What can I say? I am actually in the midst of planning her 1st birthday party...yup, only 8 weeks away! I don't want to rush it, but I want it to be a special day so we're already working on it:). Katelyn gives the best wet kisses and is as happy as can be...not much else to say, we love her to pieces and as every day goes by, we learn something new about this little girl:) |

 Well, unfortunately we NOW know WHY Katelyn was soooo cuddley during her normal active playtime hours... She woke up at 2am with a fever...poor baby! June 15, 2002 (The fever ended up being Roseola...laster until the 20th...her spots are still visible but going away...) |
