Something rather harsh happened to my little family on Feb. 20th. Will was experiencing what we thought was just a series of migraine headaches. After an hour in the emergency room, we learned that he had a spot on his brain and a hole in his heart...it is such a long 2 month drama that I wish I could erase from our memories. Our hearts are still aching from the agony of this whole ordeal as we helplessly watch Will recover. We continue to pray for his vision to return completely. I've been told he deserves a medal for all he's been through, and I sincerely agree. He's an amazing man and deserves the best in life. We're so utterly happy and blessed to have him home. Thank you for all of your prayers and love. It is the only thing that has kept us going. I thought I'd post a link here with all of the updates I sent out...I won't be reading any of these again...too upsetting, but I know for family and friends, it means a lot for them to have them, so here ya go. |

KID UPDATES: Zack: He is a talker! He repeats everything we say now that he has tubes that will stay in his ears:) It literally clicked for him right after the tubes went in. He has such a cute little boy voice:) He is learning his numbers, letters, shapes and colors... Everything is "purple" and he calls his booboos "Bo bos." He got stung by a bee on Mother's Day...Bee booboos are bad! LOL! He wasn't too thrilled about that. He's a fun little guy and will be starting Pinecrest in the fall...yay! |
