Yes, our lil cutie is 13 months old:) She snaps her
fingers, boogies, SINGS (of course...she is definitely a ham), gives kisses
to pictures of her grandparents in NY, is ALMOST walking, has 6 teeth
(her 6th one...the top right incisor came in on September 10th).....she
is a bundle of developments these days:) Her grandpa in NY taught her
how to click her tongue, her Aunt Boni taught her how to blow kisses...she
says "Hi Jess," "down doggy!" and calls great Grandma
Roz "Rara..."...do I need to go on?:) You get the picture, she
is freakin' adorable:)

| Katelyn is 14 months old!! This month she has
had colds (unfortunately), teething (unfortunately), but I am proud to say
she officially had NO reaction to the MMR & Chicken pox shot.. She was
cranky and that was all!:)))
On Katelyn's nana's birthday, Will took out our pet bird and lo and behold, Katelyn yelled "YELLOW!" as clear as a bell, for the whole family to hear:)))) Our bird is called "Yellow bird" so we were all very VERY impressed:) She said it a dozan times and everytime we all clapped and cheered her on:) Fun stuff! So "Yellow" and "Uh Oh, Oh WOW, Oh Whoa, Oh Boy, & hey you are the new words this month;) Her vocabulary is expanding every day. ALSO, big thing! Katelyn, for the past week or so, has taken 3 sucks out of the bedtime bottle and then pushed it away! So, yes, she is weaning herself! WOOHOO!!!!!!!! 12 ounces down to 3 sucks...NOT BAD! I added a bedtime story to her routine and that happens after her bottle. She has also been having a snack of milk in her sippy and cheerios before bath...so now at 7:00ish we do snack, then bath, then bottle, then bedtime story, then down she goes:) I'm going to try putting her down without the bottle once I finish this can of formula. It's all going to go to waste anyhow, so I might as well at least offer it to her. Anyhow, we're excited about this!!!!!!:) |

Katelyn is now 15 months old:) She had a HUGE day
yesterday! She took 19 steps down our hallway unassisted!!!! By the evening,
she was strolling around the living room! YAY, KATELYN IS OFFICIALLY A
WALKER NOW! Her dad and I are so excited and have been told to put on
our running shoes at all times;) We can't wait! It is so much fun watching
Katelyn grow up into a little girl. I can't believe she is a toddler now.
It is just wonderful. She has 8 teeth now...so molars here we come:( (Those
are the most painful...)
So, this month our baby girl gave up her bottle, got her first haircut and first pair of walking shoes, cut a few teeth, and started walking...NOT BAD AT ALL! |

Katelyn is a sweet
16 months old today:) She is a TODDLER all the way. She talks so much...still
can't understand all of it, but people are surprised by what comes out
of her mouth all the time. She says "Thank you" REGULARLY:)
at the RIGHT time (yay!), she also has a bond with "Melmo" (Elmo)
these days...she looooves Melmo;) She says shoes, socks, pretty, ball,
byebye, yellow bird, piggy, banana....the list doesn't end! Our favorite
thing that she does is recognize an object, like a pig, and snorts...it
is really cute and just blows our mind!:) Katelyn has learned how to dance
this month, she puts her finger to her mouth and says "shhhh"...,
she plays "Where's Katelyn" and cracks herself and us up! She
does it all and HAPPILY. She has even graduated to the Runners class at
Gymboree:) She is still napping twice a day which I am thrilled about
since I get 2 breaks;) She is eating ONLY people food. This month I started
adding raisins, cranberries, and apples to her oatmeal since that is the
only way she'll eat it. She eats Tomatoes, which Will and I can't stand...and
is just awesome. She is a good gir and it has been a good month!l:) CLICK
