On Sunday night we decided to put Katelyn in her big girl bed since it was so big after assembling it, we had no where to store it! LOL! Anyhow, while I hardly slept since I was so darn worried about her, she made it through the night beautifully! I asked her at bedtime if she wanted her bed or her crib and "BED" she replied without any apprehension:) So, as I shook with nerves, I laid her down in her bed and she said "night night"....Will and I left the room and stood outside her door for a while waiting to see if she was going to come on out, but she didn't! We were shocked and soooooooo happy! In the morning she actually slept till 8am (usually she's a 7am person) so I went in to wake her and congratulate her on her big girl night. She was ALLLLLLLLLL smiles! I was afraid that if she opened her eyes without us there that she might panic, forgetting where she was (did I mention we painted her room as well?!). Anyhow, she was happy with her milestone. Yesterday for nap she looked a little more nervous about going down in her bed, but she did it and stayed in! Last night no nervousness on her part or mine...and she made it through again!:) YIPPEEEEEE! She called for me this morning and I ran in there and jumped in the bed with her! It was so much fun to cuddle with her and goof around with her in HER bed! Ahhhh, my baby is growing up:) I was a bit teary the first night we put her in the bed, for fear that I am rushing her, but heck, what a good girl I have if I do say so myself! So, congrats to Katelyn! WHAT A GOOD GIRL!!!
