Christmas Day 2005

Christmas was so much fun this year since BOTH of our cuties really seemed to understand the concept of Santa and they just enjoyed all of the festivities so much. On Christmas Eve, rather late in the evening for our kids, we put out our graham crackers and OJ, and Katelyn cracked us up asking if she could leave a guitar for Santa. We were thinking she was out of her loon until she explained to us that Dora gave Santa a guitar on Dora the Explorer...ahhh, now it all makes sense. So, I run upstairs to the computer since Will is clearly not going to part with his real guitar and I print out a picture of a guitar, and well, I saved Christmas;)hehe Katelyn & Zackery went to bed with their eyes tightly shut for fear that Santa wouldn't come if they didn't sleep. Bright and early at about 7:15am, Katelyn comes running into our room asking us if Santa came. I guess her eyes were too sleepy still to see over the banister, so out the 3 of us went to go and see....lo and behold TONS of gifts were under the tree, which sent Katelyn running down the hall in a frenzy into Zack's room (scaring him to death), yelling, "Zack Zack, he came, Santa brought us gifts...come seeeee!" So off the 4 of us went to open our gifts. Both kids were equally ecstatic and amazed with each gift they opened. It was really cute;) Katelyn thought Santa was just plain funny when she saw 2 Skydancer Fairies when she had just asked for 1;) She loooved the gifts from the Grandpa Syd & Grandma Roz in NY. They got her a great art kit and Zackery a tool set. We had so much fun... And then just when you think the fun is over, Christmas happened to fall on the first day of Hanukah! Papa Ron & Maureen came to bring Hanukah gifts mid-morning which were a HUGE hit...a train set for Z and a Polly Pockets Carnival set for K. Then we all went back to the main Hudson Headquarters (aka Grandpa David & Grandma Marcia) for the mass celebration there. We had a blast. Enjoy our pics!:)
