Our Katelyn had an AMAZING birthday this year...can our sweet pea be 5 already? Will and I still can't believe it. I feel like we JUST celebrated her 1st birthday just yesterday. It's all still so fresh in our minds. Time sure does fly. And she's doing so great with everything and growing up to be such a beautiful, sweet little lady. We love our Kaykay;) Soooo, anyhow, we celebrated big! In order to not invite everyone we know to Olivia's Dollhouse Tea Room, we split up our parties. About 2 weeks before her birthday, on her last day of summer camp, we had a cake with the kids there. Here are our pictures:

Then, the night before her birthday, the 4 of us went with Aunt Donna & Cousin Kenna to Red Robin to celebrate there (that is her favorite restaurant).

The highlight of the evening was seeing Katelyn's surprised face when the waiters came over to sing to her. It was the 1st time she experienced this, so it was cute:)

The morning of we just opened up our gifts to her:

And then, that evening, there was the family party:

And then the big shibang:):
Katelyn arrived about 20 minutes early to have 1st pick at the 200+ gowns to choose from. She tried on a few for Will and I (Zack was at a friend's house) and settled on a pretty pink one (I know, what a shock). She then walked around and just took the place in:) She oooh'd and ahhh'd at all of the pink roses on the ceiling, the pretty victorian dolls, her throne...it all was just so awesome. She got her hair done, makeup, nails and was all ready when the guests arrived. It was so cute watching all of them get ready. Then there was a fashion show. They each made up their own Princess name. I think Katelyn was "Queen Birthday Girl." After that, the tea party began. All of the food was so yummy! Thinly cut slices of pizza, heart-shaped cheese, crustless pb & j, and hotdogs on toothpicks...a meal for royalty!;) Katelyn so delicately poured her pink lemonade and sipped her "tea." Wait till you see what her plate looked like... Then they sang to her. She actually got to take her own little heart-shaped cake home. Each girl got a plate of yummy sweets to choose from. Finally the party ended with each girl picking a treasure out of the treausure box to take home, along with a picture in a frame from the fashion show. Katelyn got to take home a victorian doll. She says she'd like to live there:) Can you blame her???? Take a peek:

Yes, they personalized the door with her name:

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF MY GIFTS & FOR SHARING MY SPECIAL DAY WITH ME!!!
