What a special fun day! Katelyn's 1st ballet recital was just awesome:) She did so so wonderfully and we were all so proud of her! And talk about BEAUTIFUL! Look at her outfit! We just ate her all up;) The grandparents, Aunt Donna, Cousin Kenna, Keli and Max (future relatives...Max brought Kate flowers!!!) were all there to cheer her on. Our sweety was front and center and did great! For the finale Minnie Mouse joined in on the "Disney Theme" (They danced to Supercalifrag... from Mary Poppins. thus the bright outfits). The kiddos each got the chance to say their names into the microphone and were each given a medal for their wonderful job participating in the "Wee Ones Performance." Katelyn made all of us so so proud:)
Below are some pics from during the recital and after, and of all the goodies given to her! (flowers, a ballerina necklace, and a teddy bear I had especially made for her in a matching outfit!!!)

Here they are lining up right before they went up...Katelyn's looking for us;) See her in the middle??
Miss Lisa was spacing them out...
Our cutie...

They're ready to dance! WOOHOO!
Katelyn was AWESOME...it was a tough dance, very fast...and she really practiced hard...and it paid off! She was right on...and well, as you can see from the pic, some kids were a few beats behind or some were right on cue with Kate. So cute watching 3 year olds...although it did get sad for 1 girl who cried:( They actually did the dance 2x's just so that everyone left feeling as though they got a fair chance to do their best. We really loved how laid back and supportive this performance was...since they are only 3.5, it's not easy to get on stage and do this...we were psyched that this studio took care in their wee ones, by giving them such a lovely show at the park where parents could cuddle on their kids before and after they went on stage. We have LOVED this dance class so much! In the fall Kate gets to move up to the 4 year old class!:)
And here's the rewards...cutie pie Max bringing those flowers for Ballerina Princess Kate and ribbons and bears...woohoo!
