So, Katelyn invited me to mommy's day brunch at preschool today. I had to share how wonderful it was.
I got there only to find Katelyn and 2 other kiddos in the center of a big circle. Apparently they were the best behaved and got to sit there as a reward!:) YAY KATE! She smiled from ear to ear when she saw me empty-armed walking in. (I left Zack with a sitter). Anyhow, the other moms and I got to hold our kiddos on our laps and listen to a story all about the things Moms CAN'T do...like put salamanders in our pockets! (Ewwwww) It was adorable listening to 28 kids giggling to that book.

After the story we were presented 1 by 1 with our Mother's Day card made by each child. It was soooo sweet! Had her fingerprints on it to make flowers and a cute poem:) I was in heaven!:) She said "Happy Mommy's Day" when she gave it to me and I melted....love my wee girly!

We also decorated paper dolls...a mommy and a Katelyn one of course. I found a piece of ruffle and put it on Katelyn's doll so it could be a princess and omg, I was the hit of the table. Her friend Kelly immediately had to have one too:O)hehe

The we played outside (Kate made me play in the sand with her....fun since I was dressed up a bit!).

We had french toast with strawberries and whipped cream for brunch.

It was so much fun so I had to share... Thank you Katelyn:) (She's sitting here as I am designing this)
