We are proud to announce that we are getting a puppy! "Princess Cassie Belle Hudson" (affectionately named by Katelyn) is a mix between a Standard Poodle and a Cocker Spaniel. She is absolutely beautiful...all 2 pounds 13 ounces of her!:) We are anxious to bring our little sweety home on January 21st when she'll be just 10 weeks old! Attached is a picture for all of you to "awwww" over her;)
Just thought we'd introduce you all to Cassie, the latest addition to our family (aka Princess Cassie Belle Hudson and yes, Kate IS calling her that more than 50% of the time...what a crackup...). Cassie had quite a journey here from Oregon...her what was supposed to be a 2 hour flight lasted over 6 hours due to mechanical problems in Portland. Everyone was so sweet at the airlines...they called to let us know for sure when she was finally en route to HOME. We all went together to pick her up at the airport and oh were the kids so so cute! They couldn't get through the little wire door on her crate quick enough to start loving on her. On the way home from the airport Cassie taught the kids how to pant (and Will too...ok...and me;)hehe...). She fell asleep on my lap as Katelyn serendaded her with "Twinkle Twinkle," and Zack reached as far as he could out of his carseat to pet her. When we got home Katelyn gave her a little Raggedy Ann doll that she looooves (I attached a pic of her with it). She fits into our nutty household just beautifully...between Katelyn's little social life and potty training (or lack thereof) Zack and Cassie, I have my hands full all day:) Happily though, I do mean that! She is loving and just great with the kids and so are they with her:) We're all loving her to bits... |
